Service Overview

merSETA periodically opens special DG funding windows targeting specific scarce skills, sector priorities, or special projects such as GBV Safe Circle Toolkit implementation, TVET college support, or youth employment programmes. These windows operate outside the standard annual DG cycle and are advertised separately.

NGOs and community organisations (at Accounting Authority discretion)

Discretionary Grant Application — Standard Funding Window

Levy-paying employers, non-levy-paying employers, and public institutions may apply for discretionary grant funding to implement PIVOTAL programmes (Professional, Vocational, Technical and Academic learning) that address scarce and critical skills identified in the merSETA Sector Skills Plan. The Accounting Authority approves grants at its discretion in line with the SSP and national skills priorities.
